This past session I have had the pleasure of doing some last Brooks photoshoots with fellow students. I am so grateful to the beautiful people that allow me to capture them in a still moment.

have been lying around undeveloped. Little canisters, innocent enough, whose pictures I’ve forgotten about. I processed them and now I remember

where I was,

how I felt,

every

single,

frame.

This is my friend Eddie. He let me build a nest in his hair. I’m grateful to him for that.

Today, someone who I am certain will be very special to me, was born in Illinois. And all the way over here in California, the sun smiled, and the birds sang, and the ocean danced with happiness.

Welcome to earth, baby Ben. I’m so excited to share this world and our lives.
